About Me

Hi, I'm Grace. Thanks for visiting my blog!

I started this blog as a way to communicate my love for all things green. I've always aspired to tread more lightly on the planet, and went to school for it too. Organic farming was (and still is) my favorite topic back in university where I spent many happy years. I eventually graduated with two degrees in Agriculture, majoring in pest management and insect ecology. I worked with the Forest Research Institute of Malaysia as an entomologist for over a decade, taking a break to go back to school at Virginia Tech under a Fulbright scholarship. I now hold an additional degree in Entomology - some Permanent head Damage!

I am now venturing into full-time blogging and writing, and hope that I will be able to make a living from this. This new direction is quite intimidating, but I am going to give it my best effort. To me, working from home (or telecommuting) means less time spent driving, less fossil fuels consumed, more money saved, and more time freed up for what matters most to me - my family and my health.

Do follow me as I embark on this journey of self-employment. As I grow this blog, I'll post about things green-related that mean something to me, that gave me pause for thought, and I hope you will find my (sometimes rambling) thoughts interesting!
